l   致力于提高机器学习在实际任务中的性能，如将多个关联的任务整合到统一的框架中，利用不同任务间的相互关联，提升整体性能

l   致力于同时使用多种训练资源解决一个学习任务，如中轴语言统计机器翻译任务

l   致力于放松有指导机器学习中限制，提高机器学习的推广能力，如可以区分标注置信度的SVM学习

l   研究受国家863重点项目支持
